Educational leaders can use blogs to provide a central location for their thoughts an analysis on their job as well as provide insight to those they work with about themselves.
Administrators can sometimes seem inaccessible to their employees. A blog can provide both a formal and informal venue for an administrator to communicate with those around them. A blog can give administrators a place to share about themselves, their interests, and their vision for the school. Colleagues can read their blog and gain valuable insight into the administrator. It may also help to dispel some misconceptions that may exist simply due to lack of communication.
In short a blog can be a window into the ideas of the administrator and another point of contact for those who work with them.
